Padé–Z2 stochastic estimator of determinants applied to quark loop expansion of lattice QCD

چکیده
In lattice QCD calculation, evaluating the fermion determinant is computationally expensive and as a consequence detM is often not evaluated and is simply set equal to a constant. This is called the quenched approximation and amounts to neglecting internal fermion loops. The goal of this work is to study the systematic error introduced by quenching and to compensate for quenching errors by constructing an expansion in quark-loop count and using it to improve Monte Carlo estimators of Wilson loops measured on quenched gauge field configurations. We examine a source of statistical error and a method for its partial alleviation.

Padé - Z2 Estimator of Determinants
We introduce the Padé–Z2 (PZ) stochastic estimator for calculating determinants and determinant ratios. The estimator is applied to the calculation of fermion determinants from the two ends of the Hybrid Monte Carlo trajectories with pseudofermions. Our results on the 83 × 12 lattice with Wilson action show that the statistical errors from the stochastic estimator can be reduced by more than an...
متن کاملNucleon Structure from Lattice QCD
We report results on the nucleon structure obtained from the lattice quantum chromodynamics calculation. These include the axial, electromagnetic, πNN , and scalar form factors. The calculation is carried out at β = 6 on a 16 × 24 lattice with 24 quenched gauge configurations. The chiral limit results are extrapolated from several light quark cases. For the disconnected insertion (sea-quark con...
متن کاملLoop Representations of the Quark Determinant in Lattice QCD
The modelling of the ultraviolet contributions to the quark determinant in lattice QCD in terms of a small number of Wilson loops is examined. Complete Dirac spectra are obtained for sizeable ensembles of SU(3) gauge fields at β = 5.7 on 6, 8 and 10 lattices allowing for the first time a detailed study of the volume dependence of the effective loop action generating the quark determinant. The c...
متن کاملAsymptotic Padé Approximant Predictions: up to Five Loops in QCD and SQCD
We use Asymptotic Padé Approximants (APAP’s) to predict the fourand five-loop β functions in QCD and N = 1 supersymmetric QCD (SQCD), as well as the quark mass anomalous dimensions in Abelian and non-Abelian gauge theories. We show how the accuracy of our previous β-function predictions at the four-loop level may be further improved by using estimators weighted over negative numbers of flavours...
متن کاملThe role of electroweak penguin and magnetic dipole QCD penguin on hadronic b Quark Decays
This research, works with the effective Hamiltonian and the quark model. Using, the decay rates of matter-antimatter of b quark was investigated. We described the effective Hamiltonian theory which was applied to the calculation of current-current (Q1,2), QCD penguin (Q3,…,6), magnetic dipole (Q8) and electroweak penguin (Q7,…,10) decay rates. The gluonic penguin structure of hadronic decays ...
